Active In English

This message is also available as an audio file (recorded at sayandpost.com).

Welcome to Active In English, a  course for those who are learning English as a Foreign Language.

You have two languages.....your home language, and English, which is your second language.

Active In English will present lessons, projects, tasks, activities, research, and follow-up tasks, to make the learning of English  easier.

Students will approach what they learn in different ways, and the exercises and tasks will cater to these different learning styles and levels of skill and ability.
You can work at your own level and at your own pace.

Active In English will focus on the student, who wants to learn English as part of their studies, for communication, for understanding, and for furthering their own studies in a English speaking country or University.

You will only get back what you put into the course, so repeat the lessons, or continue the course as you choose.

The Course here goes to Lesson 9. At this stage you should have the skills necessary to create a Power Point with voice recording, and be recording your voice on Odeo.

The course continues on the   Active English Moodle,  where you are introduced to online tasks, and become a member of Active English. Please Join and participate in the activities and in the chat.

This course was based on the  textbook 'English Knowhow' by Angela Blackwell and Theresa Naber. Other Texts are being used on Active English.
