The Cycles of Education are continually changing and attempting more and more to meet the needs of the Learner.
The last ten years has seen a virtual Explosion of Technology that teachers started to use as part of
their teaching, with some care and much trepidation, as their own computer knowledge was so limited.
The scene has changed. Teachers started using the computer more and more, as schools made computers
available for students, and programs became more user friendly and more available.
The last year has seen a Huge Explosion as more and more innovations started to
come forth. The groups and journals, extended to blogs and the blogs became more sophisticated with the addition
of images, and then flash animation and slideshows and movies.
Then there were Pandorabots and Verbots and talking faces.
Now we have Wikis and sites offering Pods, where you can not only write the story and show and image,
but now you can also read your writing for the viewer to listen to.
Suddenly there is a world of technology opening up like a flower that is blooming...and teachers are starting to realise
the huge potential there is in all this technology.
