  • Have you climbed a mountain or know someone who has climbed a mountain?

ONLINE TASK.

  • Do a search on Mountains and list the 10 highest mountains in the world.
  • Search for people who have climbed mountains.
  • Interview someone who has climbed a mountain and list their comments.
  • Create a Power Point or video slide show of any aspect of Mountain Climbing...height, views. peaks, trekking, exercise, achievement, leisure.
  • Using a Mountain Image create a motivational poster or Inspirational Poster.

Oral discussion based around what students did during the weekend. Weekend actvities may include:

  • shopping
  • driving
  • visiting
  • staying home to watch TV or play computer games

Have students draw what they did and then show their drawing with a sentence or more about the weekend.
