Activities:
- Create lists...fruit, vegetables, meats, clothes...whatever the students see in the market
- List the different stalls and shops in a market
- People at the market...talk about the people one sees at the market..stall holders, sellers, tourists,
shoppers, taxi drivers, children, babies, police,...discuss why these people are here and what they have come to do...not
everyone comes to a market to buy goods...
- Write a poem or story about a market experience you have had
- Take the students for a walk to a market..excursion... and then they will have something to talk about..
